Hello my dear, I'm Caroline!

A little story about me...

I've always loved drawing and designing. None of this would have happened without my husband believing in me and encouraging me to embrace my creative side. I first started a small stationery business called Savvy & Maisie. Before that, I owned an online boutique, Mermaids & Magnolias Co., where I designed women’s t-shirts and gifts featuring my original artwork. It was such a fun and fulfilling experience, and I learned so much along the way.

When I was little, my mom owned “The Whistle Stop Pottery” and contributed greatly to our hometown's downtown area in South Georgia. In the very first month after she opened her shop, she featured all the pottery I had painted as her “Artist of the Month” in the front window. I know she was biased, but it meant the world to me. Kids from my elementary school would tell me they visited her shop and recognized my painted pottery, and I felt like I was on top of the world. Creating has always been a passion of mine, especially when it was for the people I love. Thanks, Mama.

Looking back, I’m thankful God gave me a place to escape happily through painting and creating. If my designs on children’s apparel or stationery bring joy to families during their celebrations, or if someone displays a custom illustration of their wedding dress to remember one of the sweetest days of their life…well, that’s more than I could ever ask for. It’s an honor to play even the smallest part in someone’s joy. I have my daughters to thank for sparking the light in me that brought all of this to life.
